Distribution Agreement Formed Between Chr. Hansen, Urex, BioGaia
Chr. Hansen A/S, Hørsholm, Denmark, Urex Biotech Inc., London, Ontario, and BioGaia, Stockholm, Sweden, have entered into agreements that will allow for the global distribution of a probiotic product containing a strain of Lactobacillus reuteri targeting women. The product is an oral probiotic that restores and maintains a healthy vaginal flora in order to diminish the risk of acquiring urogenital infections. The product will be distributed through combined distribution networks of Chr. Hansen and BioGaia.
